I work as an armed security officer for a large hospital in my area where I am constantly involved in physical altercations with aggressive patients and visitors. I have an MTKN on my duty belt and it is an incredibly tough piece of kit. It has survived countless fights and detainments while showing no major signs of wear or damage. The insert sits snugly inside the pouch while remaining easy to deploy. I am currently trying to convince my department to equip every officer with this kit.

This has every item I've personally trained to use as a Combat lifesaver. It definably is very useful to have a medical kit with you and this one has everything you need.

I keep a Blue Force Gear Micro Trauma Kit NOW! on the support side of my plate carrier at work. It is the smallest and lightest trauma kit that I have found. While I had trained with it some after attaching it, I didn’t realize how well designed this thing was until I used it on a call. We had a stabbing victim with an exit wound to his neck. I was able to easily grasp the ULTRACOMP pull-tab and grab the flat dressing out of the insert. From there, everything else I needed stayed organized, but was easy to see and grab if needed. When it was over I put the remaining contents in a BDU pocket. It was then that I realized that the kit is so small and light when it is filled that it was tough to remember that the carrier was now empty. I will be hard pressed to find a more comprehensive lightweight and low profile IFAK

Great miniature trauma kit pouch. Holds all essential BLS and ALS items easily with good retention. Place mine back middle of shooting belt, the quick pull tabs are rubberized in texture and very easy to pull ambidextrously . Medical contents sleeve held on by small patch of hook and loop but still very strong so wont just fall out of outer case but has elastic properties so can squeeze a lot of kit into medical sleeve. Very pleased with this Trauma kit, fits all of my med Kit pieces easily and conveniently. Belt mount is very study and works without incident with hook and loop two part shooter belt. Don't hesitate it is very well thought out and extremely durable.

I am a Patrolman and I have had this kit for a few weeks now. I bought the pouch only and filled it with my personal kit. I attempted to keep the kit as flat as i could. I wear the kit on my duty belt, in the small of my back. After riding around for a couple shifts the kit fits well. I can tell it's back there when I sit down but it is not uncomfortable.
