Limited Edition VCAS™ MultiCam® Alpine® Sling by BFG®

Blue Force Gear's first-ever sling in the MultiCam Alpine pattern – a snow camouflage originally developed for arctic and high-altitude military operations. This exclusive sling blends our iconic Vickers Combat Applications Sling design with the ghostly MultiCam Alpine camo, a minimalist mix of whites and muted grays designed to make you disappear into snowy landscapes.
In fact, the Alpine pattern uses just three shades (medium gray, light gray, and white), mimicking the glare and shadow of fresh snow to break up your outline. Originally created to reduce a warfighter's visibility (even IR-signature) in snow-covered terrain, it’s the same kind of winter camo favored by elite units training in sub-zero climates – from Arctic-alpine troops to NATO forces on northern European exercises. In other words, if winter warfare is your game (or you just love rare camo gear), this sling has you covered.

The Quick Adjuster - Contrasting Pull Tab

Quickly transition from carrying to combat-ready. Our patented Quick Adjuster lets you loosen or tighten the sling in seconds, so you can go from slung on your back to aiming downrange with a single swift motion. For the Alpine edition, we've outfitted the adjuster with a Wolf Gray pull tab and matching Wolf Gray nylon hardware. The gray tab provides a subtle contrast against the white MultiCam Alpine webbing, making it easy to spot and grab even with gloves on. In true VCAS fashion, this quick-adjust system bridges the gap between comfortable carry and rapid deployment – an essential feature when operating in chilly conditions where speed and dexterity are key.

Attachment Hardware Options

The Limited Edition MultiCam Alpine Sling is available in two versions to suit your needs:

1. Triglides / Base Model (no QD swivels): Features triglides on the front and rear ends for directly threading through your weapon’s sling loops or for use with separate hardware (like our ULoop attachment). This minimalist setup lets you run the sling light and customize attachments as you see fit.
2. Vickers 221™ Version (Dual Push Button QDs): Comes with push-button QD sling swivels front and rear, plus a Burnsed Socket on the rear end that enables single-point sling configuration. This gives you the flexibility to switch between two-point carry and single-point mobility in the field. Just detach the front QD and plug the rear swivel into the Burnsed Socket, and you're ready for close-quarters maneuvering.

Both versions utilize the same Wolf Gray adjuster and triglides, so you get the full Alpine camo look either way. Choose the setup that fits your attachment style – the Alpine VCAS has you covered.

Made in the USA

At Blue Force Gear, every VCAS sling is proudly sewn right here in the USA. We take great pride in American craftsmanship and attention to detail. From the quality of the Invista Cordura® nylon webbing to the reinforced stitching, this sling is built to last. In fact, we stand behind that promise with a Lifetime Warranty – if your VCAS ever fails due to a manufacturing defect, we'll repair or replace it. This Alpine edition is no exception: you're not just getting a unique camo pattern, you're getting the decades-proven reliability of a Vickers Sling, made on American soil and built to withstand the harshest conditions.

Adjuster & Triglides Build

The Alpine VCAS features our latest-generation DuPont Zytel® nylon hardware for the adjuster and triglides – a high-strength polymer that's lighter, tougher, and more flexible than traditional plastic components. These Wolf Gray adjuster pieces not only look great against the MultiCam Alpine pattern, but they also perform under pressure (and in freezing temperatures) without cracking or adding extra weight. This is the same upgraded nylon hardware trusted by the U.S. military on many of their issued BFG slings, so you can have full confidence in its durability. In short, you get metal-like strength in a lighter package. No rattling, no rust – just rugged performance, whether you're trudging through snow or headed to the range for some winter training.
