Slings are essential for gun fighting but a pain in the gun safe, arms room, or back seat of your car if not stowed properly - a serious potential snag hazard.

The Sling Sleeve™ is a 5” long tube of military grade elastic that holds your sling neat and snag-free but remains ready for instant deployment.  To use, thread your sling through the Sleeve and then mount the sling to your rifle.  “Z fold” your sling taut and slip the Sling Sleeve over the bundle.  To deploy, simply grab the sling and pull.

The Sling Sleeve fits most 2-point slings including unpadded models of the Vickers Combat Applications Slings.

    Sling thing

Posted by Greg R. on Aug 13th 2025

What can I say, it's a thing to hold my sling. Does what it's supposed to, holds the extra length of my sling out of the way until needed. God quality material, appears to be built to last.

The best accessory you didn’t know you need

I’ve used various sling “keepers” and such throughout the years with my most used being just rubber bands. When I decided to try out the BFG sling, I figured I’d give this little thing a go. I LOVE IT! Nothing I’ve tried works quite as good as this. It’s not too tight where it’s hard to undo your sling, and it’s not too loose where your sling keeper will let the sling slip through. It’s great. Get it! You’ll be glad you did.

    Good product

My only regret is that I only bought 4 of them at the time. Work as they are intended to!

    Works

Simple idea, simple execution,.. great results! I only had minor problems with some setups. If the bundled portion of the slack sling isn’t long enough, there might not be enough material to fill the sleeve enough to hold it securely. My solution was to add a ladder lock to a portion of the sling to add more girth.

Good quality sleeve. Several color options and very stretchy

Posted by Quality sleeve on Jul 28th 2023

I bought one of them for my AR9, I use it on my 221 sling and then I went and used it on another one of the blue force slings. It's very stretchy holds the sling all together. Well. I'm using that and then have a ranger band on the stock. It's solid. I like the different color options cuz I have different colored builds. I like it. I just wish that there was maybe an inch or so shorter option.

    Sling Sleeve

Works great on a regular sling but I don't recommend this item if your sling is padded. Very difficult to get on.
