The Ten-Speed® Ultralight Dump Pouch by Blue Force Gear

The Ten-Speed Ultralight Dump Pouch redefines dump pouches. Extremely compact, only taking up a 2 x 2 MOLLE field; the bag portion stays folded under Ten-Speed® elastic when not in use.

Ten-Speed Ultralight Dump Pouch By Blue Force Gear
BFG Dump Pouch is compact, measuring 3 inches by 3.5 inches by 1 inch

Compact, Ultralight Pouch

The stowed pouch design eliminates bulky bags flopping around posing as a snag hazard and is small enough to be mounted behind larger pouches or on duty belts. Stowed dump pouch is 3” x 3.5” x 1”.

Deploys quickly, holding up to 10 M4 magazines

A cinch cord at the top of the bag can be closed with one hand to secure the contents of the Dump Pouch.  The Ten-Speed Ultralight Dump Pouch functions great as a traditional magazine dump pouch, a temporary supplemental pouch for breaching charges, provisions, SSE items, trash, spent casings, or extra water bottles during infill. The rip-stop nylon bag can be used for foraging for food or kindling or even work as an emergency water filtration component.

Durable and compatible with all MOLLE platforms

The Patented Helium Whisper® attachment system is compatible with all MOLLE platforms and built with a combat-tested, high-performance laminate that reduces weight up to 60% while equaling or exceeding the durability of 1000D CORDURA®. The latest material innovation of the Ten-Speed® pouches has been modified for optimized retention and greater durability.

What customers are saying about the Ten-Speed® Ultralight Dump Pouch

    Great Addition

Posted by Trace on Dec 5th 2024

This pouch is small when you don’t need it and large when you do. I’ve had 2 for a couple of years and just bought another for my son. You’ll never regret having more small, compressed storage — it’s like having an extra pocket when you need it.

    BFG Dump Pouch

Posted by PNW Don on Dec 4th 2024

I can't say for sure how many BFG dump pouches I own, or are owned in my family. It's a necessary piece of kit, and out of all the brands out there, this is the one relied upon most. It's nearly weightless compared to other brands. It takes very little space, and they've all held up to the test of time and use. I'll even occasionally run one as part of CC EDC. It's nice to find them on sale but even at full price, it's worth the money.

    Hides well.

I have two of the OSS dp's, cousin to this one, mounted on both of my SOC-C belts. They hide nicely, and deploy/stowaway quickly. I have to assume they are the smallest dump pouch on the market.

Happy overall, but improvement is possible

Posted by Jared D. on Mar 6th 2023

The engineering and build quality on this piece are top notch. I expect it will perform admirably, like all BFG products. I was confused as to why a BLIP wasn't used in the pull-tab, though. Reaching around to your back and trying to find the tab, especially with cold or gloved hands, would be exponentially easier with this one, minor improvement.

    So far so good!

I have had this for a short time and it was exactly what I expected. Super light and compact. Works on my battle belt. Only complaint would be the little pull cord part is half to set up again once you have deployed the dump pouch and try to stow it again.

Perfect addition to my War Belt

Posted by Kochman on Sep 23rd 2022

Perfect addition to my War Belt / The package is very compact and well thought out. Doesn't take up a great deal of real-estate which allowed my setup to stay the same, which was good for my developed muscle memory of where my gear was situated on my belt. It is "flimsy", but It's effective and I don't have it hanging out all of the time anyway. When I do need it, it's a simple pull on the tab and we are in business. Sitting in a vehicle poses no discomfort nor obstructions.

My opinion is in line with most of the other comments

Posted by Justin on Jan 10th 2016

My opinion is in line with most of the other comments. This product is not a heavy duty drop bag but it is a very compact, durable, and lightweight items. As the photos show, it can hold a ton of empty mags. It like to see a larger version of the pouch. The elastic pouch could be twice the width, which would permit extra space for features. Either a draw string/strap and could tighten from the vertical axis or one mid way up on the bag. That would reduce chatter from contents. Great product.

This pouch is hidden away in the lower (offhand) corner of my plate carrier on my back

Posted by Nick on Dec 27th 2015

This pouch is hidden away in the lower (offhand) corner of my plate carrier on my back. It takes so little space that I tend to forget that it's there, even when wearing a pack or a chest rig. Very easy to deploy and holds 5 Colt (Uzi) mags with room to spare! The material is very light weight and has no rigidity, so getting an empty mag onto the opening on the first try does take practice. Some might be put off by this, but all it took was a bit of repetition to get more accurate with my placement. If I was able to mount this on my side, it wouldn't take any practice at all, so I don't fault the design. As with any dump pouch, stowing it back in the "folded" or "closed" potion takes some time. The ten-speed can pretty much be shoved back into the pocket, but making sure the pull tab is positioned correctly for fast deployment is key. Overall, I'd give it a solid 9 out of 10.
