When stowed, the pouch measures approximately 3 by 3.5 by 1 inch and requires only a 2-by-2 MOLLE field. Pull the deployment tab and the ripstop nylon bag expands to approximately 3.5 liters, with room for up to ten M4 magazines. A one-hand cinch cord helps secure the content when loaded, while the Helium Whisper® attachment system keeps mounting weight and bulk to a minimum.

Belt Mounted Dump Pouch
Ultralight Capability Without MOLLE.
Not every belt uses MOLLE. The Belt Mounted Dump Pouch brings compact, rapidly deployable storage to traditional pants, belts, and duty belts. The pouch attaches using VELCRO® Brand ONE-WRAP® fasteners and fits belts up to 2 inches wide when mounted vertically. When not in use, the ripstop bag remains folded beneath the Ten-Speed® elastic body. Pull the deployment tab; the bag expands to approximately 3.5 liters, with room for up to ten M4 magazines.

The Medium Dump Pouch is designed for users needing greater retention than a traditional open-top bag. The structured, fish-trap-style opening allows magazines and other equipment to be inserted quickly while helping prevent the contents from falling back out. The added security is especially valuable when going prone, climbing, entering and exiting vehicles, or moving aggressively with a loaded pouch.
The pouch rolls up when not in use and mounts to MOLLE-compatible platforms using the Helium Whisper® attachment system.

Where Should You Mount a Dump Pouch?
For most users, a dump pouch works best toward the rear of the support-hand side of the belt. This keeps it accessible while preserving valuable space at the front of the loadout. Why not put empty magazines back in the mag pouches?
It's not a good idea to place empty magazines back in a mag pouch. The last thing you want is to instinctively load an empty magazine into your firearm. This is why the dump pouch is essential. Empty magazines go in a dump pouch, loaded mags go in mag pouches (and firearms, of course).
What is the best dump pouch design?
A good dump pouch should have a few key features. First, it should be easily opened with one hand. Dump pouches are worn closed and usually only opened when needed. This likely means that they will be accessed during a firefight using the support hand to open the pouch and store a magazine while the gun remains ready in the other hand.
Second, they should be made from durable materials. Dump pouches are frequently used pieces of kit during training and in the field, so they must stand up to extreme abuse.
